As expected, Taylor made an appearance at the Chiefs home game against the Raiders today in a more casual outfit than we’ve typically come to expect from Taylor’s “season two” game day fashion.

When I tell you how delighted I was to see Taylor in yet another copy + paste (mostly) outfit (Spoiler: It’s the shoes for me).

This entire outfit, chic knee high boots included that perfectly sandwich-style her bustier top and bag, was an immediate copy + paste for me. Very well played.

This outfit has a lot of recognizable, repeat elements going on for it which is something Taylor does a lot with her fashion.

Let’s firstly address the 'debutation’ in the room with us. I like to imagine that she’s smiling about the tease on the inside.

Empires have been built and fallen faster than a new reputation bodysuit, but here we are. The longest running gag of the Eras Tour comes to a close after a consecutive 131 wears - we finally have Version 2 of the reputation bodysuit! 

Back in office, indeed! Taylor truly in her element at a sold out stadium with a cat on her arm - we do love to see it. How I’ve missed her!

Even from far away, I know that this is an outfit I would personally copy + paste in a heartbeat. The combination of rich neutrals and oversized blazer truly have my heart.

This outfit continues a lot of ongoing TTPD trends. Namely, corsetry and a certain sensual appeal thanks to the rich materials used in the top and skirt.

Me: Touches down in Kansas City MO, calls the amateurs, and cuts them from the team. Taylor: Is frolicking about NYC.

Taylor’s game day fashion expands on her signature style with some “Chief” M.O.’s to soften her presence (as much as one can when you are Taylor Swift, main character of the universe).

Round two of season two of National Sportsball Observation. Last year, Taylor developed a reliable style playbook when it came to her game day fashion: women-owned/locally-owned brands, sentimental accessories, and vintage.

It isn’t all that surprising that Taylor would tap Monse for some of her looks. The two designers at the helm, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, first met when they were working together at Oscar de la Renta - one of Taylor’s longstanding favourite brands.

A brief moment of pride for me because I happened to predict a different look from this exact same collection for the MTV VMAs. I’ll take the win!

All-in, this felt like a cohesive night of looks to underpin TTPD’s aesthetic. The runway’s interplay of proportions and bustier-like top are very TTPD - sensual, emboldened, playing with what to reveal and what to hide.

Someone got a haul of Gucci recently and decided to wear it all in one fell weekend. It’s not uncommon for Taylor to be brand loyal and to wear a slew of things from a single designer many times over, consecutively.

Taylor has often gone back to an all black look for dinner nights out. And who can blame her. I lean on all black all the time when I want to feel polished and chic.

Touchdown - she’s back. Many wondered how Taylor’s style playbook would shift (if at all) for “National Sportsball Observation”: Season Two.

After a lot of staring, my current suspicion (based on UO being one of Taylor’s longtime favourite brands for personal, casual wear) is that Taylor is wearing one of Urban’s cropped plaid shirts.

As I’ve noted throughout the tour, one should expect the unexpected when it comes to new costumes. As in, they can happen at any time in any city at any time.
