The Eras Tour | Folkmore Cape
When the folklore and evermore sets combined into one, Taylor introduced a few other smaller changes to the costuming. These changes feel like a proper ‘blending’ of the Eras.
The Eras Tour | folkmore | v2
As per my previous note on V6 of Taylor’s newly joined ‘folkmore’ section, this is now the second time we’re retreading design territory. V7 of this dress takes the silhouette and botanical elements of the superb V4 version of the gown and renders it in a saturated berry tone.
The Eras Tour | folkmore | v1
If my eyes aren’t deceiving me, this is the first time we’re getting a new folklore gown that’s a repeat silhouette - just a different colour. If I’m not mistaken, V6 is a yellow version of the V2 white gown (which appeared in the Eras Tour Movie).
The Eras Tour | folklore | v5
Like all the other folklore set gowns, the special 1989 blue version is a custom piece by Alberta Ferretti. Based on its split-sleeve shoulder-cape attachments, neckline, and lace-like embellishments feel the most similar to the Version 3 pink dress.
The Eras Tour | folklore | v4
I don’t think I have to expand to anyone which folklore dress is my favourite now.
The Eras Tour | folklore | v3
Splitting the difference between her two previous Alberta Ferretti dresses, this chantilly lace confection combines the saturated mauve from Glendale 1 with the split sleeve cape-like detail of Glendale 2 into this dusty rose chiffon gown for Las Vegas 1.
The Eras Tour | folklore | v2
Well we are certainly in for quite a ride with this tour if Taylor plans to continue to serve fresh versions of her looks.
The Eras Tour | folklore | v1
This mauve-toned, chiffon gown mixes bohemian elements thanks to its ruffles and flutter sleeves and lace with very subtle stage-worthy embellishments. Well done.
