Welcome to New York, indeed! This dinner out in NYC sees our first real glimpse of Taylor’s street style since she’s been laying low post-Super Bowl and post-Eras Tour.

The Chiefs may have lost the big game, but Taylor in a blazer and thigh high boots is my version of winning the Super Bowl.

Taylor attended the 2025 Grammys in a look that made me feel like I was on a red hot winning streak. First, for correctly guessing the designer. Second, for guessing the styling.

Taylor attended the NFL’s AFC Championship game in a Louis V up in KC monogrammed look.

Given the statement of the rest of her outfit (the fuzzy bucket hat, faux fur coat, patterned tights), I think going simple and understated with the boots was the right call and finisher to the ‘fit.

As expected, Taylor made an appearance at the Chiefs home game against the Raiders today in a more casual outfit than we’ve typically come to expect from Taylor’s “season two” game day fashion.

This entire outfit, chic knee high boots included that perfectly sandwich-style her bustier top and bag, was an immediate copy + paste for me. Very well played.

This outfit has a lot of recognizable, repeat elements going on for it which is something Taylor does a lot with her fashion.

Let’s firstly address the 'debutation’ in the room with us. I like to imagine that she’s smiling about the tease on the inside.

The acoustic set dress has now had three design iterations, but eight total variants (accounting for different coloured versions for each design). To have brought her back into the fold for the Eras Tour felt like such a warm and lovely nod, indeed, to eras past. 

Taylor’s game day fashion expands on her signature style with some “Chief” M.O.’s to soften her presence (as much as one can when you are Taylor Swift, main character of the universe).

Taylor’s longtime makeup artist, Lorrie Turk, is often tight lipped about the lip products she likes to use on Taylor - though we have gotten a number of confirmations of her favourites over the years.

Round two of season two of National Sportsball Observation. Last year, Taylor developed a reliable style playbook when it came to her game day fashion: women-owned/locally-owned brands, sentimental accessories, and vintage.

While some wondered if Taylor would appear at any NYFW shows this week, a sporty outing to watch a fellow American Taylor (Fritz) in the US Open final is just as fun. And such great symmetry!

Touchdown - she’s back. Many wondered how Taylor’s style playbook would shift (if at all) for “National Sportsball Observation”: Season Two.

Now on the European leg of Eras, I had been wondering when we’d see her pop in London. The days ahead of her U.K. dates seemed like a fitting time as any. And oh is she saying things with this ensemble.

As per my previous note on V6 of Taylor’s newly joined ‘folkmore’ section, this is now the second time we’re retreading design territory. V7 of this dress takes the silhouette and botanical elements of the superb V4 version of the gown and renders it in a saturated berry tone.

For my own predictions post guessing at tour designers for The Tortured Poets Department set on the Eras Tour I noted: “When it comes to designers, I feel Vivienne Westwood would excel at this assignment.” The theatricality, the dramatics, the corsetry, the Britishness of it all.
